3-  The Caldera de Taburiente is the largest erosion crater in the world. At its highest point it is 2545m above sea level and drops to about 1200m in the center and sea-level where the river-bed runs out into the sea.

four- Castellfollit de la Roca is a town pf Spain of approximately 1,000 inhabitants in an area of significantly less than a square kilometer  producing it a single of the smallest towns in Catalonia. The basalt crag where the town is situated is over 50 m higher and almost a kilometre lengthy and is the direct result of the erosive action of the rivers Fluvià and Toronell on the remains of the lava flows from the volcanic eruptions which took location thousands of years ago.
