Moorish idol, the Crowned Scythe loves to inhabit in the tropical and sub-tropical lagoons and it is broadly distributed in the Indo-Pacific oceans. Moorish Idol is scientifically known as Zanclus cornutus which is in fact species of the Heniochus genus that are commonly referred to as the “False” or “Poor Man’s” Moorish Idol.
