Let’s us tell you these days about a well-known monument of North Korea which is located in the capital city of Pyongyang. This is the Tower of the Juche Notion which is a 170-metre high structure and it is a four sided tapering 150-metre (490 ft) spire (the tallest in granite) containing 25,550 blocks (365 × 70), one particular for every day of Kim Il Sung’s life.
The tower of the Juche Idea was constructed in 1982 and it is located on the eastern bank of the River Taedong. Correct in front of Juche tower, the Kim II Sung Square is also situated and both of these monuments have been constructed to pay tribute to Kim II Sung, the North Korean communist leader. Juche Tower of North Korea was built to commemorate the 70th birthday of Kim II Sung. Juche tower is the second tallest monumental column in the world after the San Jacinto Monument, which is two.9 metres (9.5 ft) taller. There are also statues of three individuals standing 30 meters higher. This trio shaped statue is a symbol of the Worker’s Celebration of Korea. There are also two huge fountains that raise up to 150 meters and these can be noticed on the Taedong River.
Juche Tower of North Korea is a symbol of the teachings of Kim II Sung primarily self reliance, nationalism and Marxism.
