Boa Constrictor is a large non-poisonous snake which is endemic to the North and South America. Boa Constrictor, monster of the forest can also be compared with large species of Python and Anaconda due to their huge size. They can get the typical length of 6-8 feet, but in the most appropriate circumstances of their growth, the Boa Constrictors are also observed of three-four meters. The female Boa Constrictor is much larger, especially in the captivity. Nonetheless, the size and weight of Boa Constrictor differ on the place and availability of their prey.

Boa Constrictors are discovered in the exquisite colour patterns depending upon their habitats. Nonetheless, they are largely observed in brown, creamy, gray patterned with brown or red saddles. Boa Constrictors are tough climate resistant as they also reside in the semi desert environment, though most of them prefer to reside in the humid and tropical rainforests. Boa Constrictor becomes adult at the age of 3 years and the typical life span of Boa Constrictor is from 25-30 years.

Boa Constrictor is a deadly predator and wraps its physique around the victim and actually constricts it till the prey dies. Their prey contains little mammals, bats, birds, mongoose and amphibians. The size of the prey item will increase as they get older and bigger. Boa constrictor, monster of the forest can hiss very loudly in case of feeling any danger. Even their hiss can be heard up to 100 feet away. Nearly all of the sub-species of Boa Constrictor are named with the exact same name and red-tailed Boa Constrictor is preferred to preserve as pet. Boa constrictor species are now considered as endangered animal species as they are excessively hunted for their exotic skin.

Balochistan has extremely vast arid zones in Pakistan but this province is full of wonders. Zhob is also a modest town and the district capital of Zhob is located in Balochistan along the banks of the Zhob river. This river is a tributary of the Gomal river and it passes about four km away from Zhob city. We can describe Zhob in any other write-up in detail but here we’ll tell you about a special organic wonder i-e Kapip Reserved Forest of Balochistan: Where Olive Lives.

Kapip Reserved Forest is located on the outskirts of Zhob. This natural forest land is the spot of the wild olive trees that are found in the upland locations of the west and north of Pakistan. Kapip Reserved Forest is a no go location and the olive trees are quite protected from the human intervention. Olive trees are evergreen shrubs which is really popular in the Arabian countries and South Asia. Olive has tremendous religious significance near Muslims and the olive tree produces tiny white colored flowers, borne typically on the final year’s wood, in racemes springing from the axils of the leaves. The Olive fruit is a tiny drupe 1–2.5 centimeters (.39–0.98 in) long, thinner-fleshed and smaller in wild plants than in orchard cultivars. Olives are harvested in the green to purple stage. Canned black olives could include chemicals (usually ferrous sulfate) that turn them black artificially.

Kapip Reserved Forest presents a magnificent scenery with the fantastic display of the wild olive trees in the flowering season. The trees of Kapip Reserved Forest of Balochistan, exactly where Olive lives are generally difficult plants that are regarded drought tolerant but some pests are dangerous for them. Kapip Reserved Forest is also the all-natural habitat of shrikes, warblers, buzzards, mistle thrushes, spotted flycatchers and partridges.
